The azaleas bloom for only a couple weeks every spring, and then they are gone. It is apt that they bloom so beautifully in the "Old Burying Ground," an Beaufort's oldest cemetary. Our lives burn bright and beautiful for only a short time in this world, and then we are gone. This oil painting on linen is 24x36", presented in a 3" wide subtlely mottled dark brown/ black frame and ready to hang. A beautiful addition to any collector of fine art. Come see it in person at my Red Arrow Studio in Morehead City. It really is a wonderful example of my American Impressionist style.
